Children Give Us Hope!
I believe there is always hope for every child and every family even through the darkest moments. I have seen the triumph of the parent/child bond over struggles of addiction, separation, tragedy, and many complex adversities. In the work I do, I am privileged to see these relationships come together to heal and repair the hurts and pain. Sometimes the hurt comes out in the challenging behavior of children or the maladaptive coping skills of parents, both are just doing the best they can with what they know. I work with families and caregivers in these times to find the deeper unmet needs and nurture the strengths that can sometimes feel lost.
